About Dick and Ann
Dick Ketelle and Ann Farrar are both retired from professional photography. Their photography now is for pure enjoyment!! They still love the outdoors and photography, and are "in their element" whenever possible. Ann is also retired from her main career and Dick is still working fulltime.
Dick has been a nature and landscape photographer for many years and his interests include panorama and nighttime photography. He has won numerous accolades including several first and second place awards from the Oak Ridge Camera Club and many honors from the SANP Salons. His undergraduate and graduate degrees in Geology are from the University of Tennessee. He has over 35 years experience as the Oak Ridge Chief Geologist and Groundwater Expert and is still working full-time in that capacity.
Ann has earned the Masters of Photography (M.Photog.) and Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designations from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). She is a past PPA Gold Medalist and Silver Medalist. She has won numerous awards including “Best of Show” in the Southern Appalachian Nature Photographers (SANP) Salon. Her images have been accepted into PPAs Loan and Merit collections and published in PPA publications, Wyoming Wildlife magazine, and Wild Planet Photo magazine. She is a graduate of Maryville College and the New York Institute of Photography and has over thirty years of management experience prior to her photography career.
